RIVER TIME

We will have several SUPs (paddleboards) to ride. Feel free to bring your own if you have one. We will be in a close proximity to Potomac River and a short 7-10 min drive from a launch spot. We can go as a group together or you can go before/after on your own. The life jackets will be provided.

If you are not into water sports, you could explore the Maryland Heights Hike with its gorgeous view or hit Harpers Ferry downtown for some shopping and a beautiful walk or sit in a cafe.

In addition to being an incredibly fun outdoor water activity, stand up paddleboarding also offer a wide array of impressive health benefits (full body workout, increases balance, strengthen new muscles, relieves stress brings a sense of wellbeing)

If you’re a newbie to yoga and/or stand-up paddling, rest assured we will all be introduced to proper and safe paddle techniques including how to hold the paddle, stop, turn, and how to best maneuver the board to create a comfortable experience for everyone. With a focus on core, this all-levels SUP Yoga Class will offer lots of variations suitable for beginners and regular practitioners alike.

Paddleboards, paddles, and life jackets are provided for all participants. All participants must wear a life jacket or have a life jacket on their paddleboard.

 Health & Well-being

Everyone’s safety is always our priority. To be able to enjoy our time together in a relaxed and safe manner and to ensure utmost caution and ease angst we are asking everyone to get tested prior to the retreat. We will require a proof of a negative COVID test within 72- hour of the retreat (PCR or rapid test). If you get positive Covid test result, your retreat payment could be transferred to a different person or a different upcoming retreat. Hand sanitizers will be placed in the bedrooms and communal areas as well as tissues. The retreat center has UV lights that kill viruses, bacteria and mold on each of the HVAC units. They completely recirculate and clean the air every few hours!  It also has a separate UV air filter for the Yoga Room, so the air is being cleaned while practicing yoga.
